Look for our guide holding a purple umbrella. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the tour starts so you can check in and avoid missing the group.

Most free tours start at the times listed on our schedule page (check the date you want). Typical duration is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the route and guide. Check the tour listing for exact start times and durations.

Yes — the tour itself is free, and our guides are compensated through voluntary tips at the end. You decide the amount based on your experience and what you feel the tour was worth.

There is also a small €3 booking/management fee when you reserve your spot.
This fee does not go to the guides. Instead, it helps cover the essential costs of running the company — maintaining the website, handling reservations, providing customer support, and making sure our tours operate smoothly every day.

Note: these tours are dedicated to individuals or travelers with a small group of friends.  If you are traveling with the group of more than 8 people, contact us in advance for a private tour.

Tours run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe. Guides adapt the route to shelter where appropriate — bring suitable clothing and footwear for unpredictable weather.

 

Yes. Our routes are planned to be wheelchair-friendly where possible. If you have specific mobility needs, please contact us before the tour so we can confirm accessibility and make any necessary arrangements.

Absolutely — families and children are welcome. We recommend supervising younger children and bringing snacks/water for long walks. Ask your guide for kid-friendly highlights and shortcuts.

Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the tour. Please ensure your pet is comfortable in crowds and follows local rules.

Our main free tours are offered in English. We also provide scheduled tours and private tours in Spanish and other languages depending on guide availability — check the schedule or contact us to request a specific language.

Free tour sizes vary by day and season. We try to keep groups small (recommended under 25) for quality, but popular times can be larger. If you prefer a guaranteed small group, consider a private tour.

Yes — our guides are local, experienced, and licensed where required. They’re passionate about Barcelona and trained to deliver accurate, engaging stories and practical tips.

For private tours, cancellations made more than 72 hours before the start may be refunded or rescheduled. Cancellations inside 72 hours are non-refundable. (See our Terms & Conditions for full details.)

Please follow your guide’s instructions at all times. Keep an eye on personal belongings (pickpocketing can happen in tourist areas). Guides reserve the right to refuse service to disruptive or unsafe participants.
